Canoeing in the Arctic Wilderness
We will start the day by getting acquainted with paddling techniques and practice canoeing in easy conditions. During the exercises we will practise how to steer the canoe and what to do if the canoe capsizes. After the training we shall continue towards the river. During the day we will cover a distance of about 20 km, but we will have several breaks and enjoy a leisurely lunch surrounded by the beautiful wilderness.
This adventure is well suited for both beginners and people who want challenge themselves. The weather can be unpredictable changing from sunny to heavy rains and strong winds. The temperatures can vary from very cool (zero degrees) to fairly hot (above 25 degrees Celcius).
